Fremont, Calif. —October 17, 2006-KIS, the leading provider of information technology consulting and solutions, today announced that Howard Shapiro would be joining the Company as a Consulting Partner. Howard has more than 23 years in the computer industry and brings consulting management, sales and support experience to KIS. He has expertise selling and managing the delivery of large consulting engagements to state, local government and other Enterprise Clients. His experience extends also to developing key partnerships with system integrators and subcontractors to grow the consulting practice, which has led him to KIS.

Mr. Shapiro served as Principal Technology Specialist for Novell responsible for successful delivery of Enterprise consulting engagements for the Western U.S.  Prior to that, Howard served as consulting Branch Manager where he oversaw a team of 18 consultants and was responsible for developing project scopes, managing client expectations, and provided project oversight for many engagements.

The reaction to the announcement was positive and exciting.  Current KIS Clients that worked with Howard in previous engagements were extremely happy to know they would be able to work with Howard at KIS.

Mr. Shapiro, in his role as a Consulting Partner at KIS, will be focused on serving the needs of Enterprise Clients in California’s Central Valley. Howard will be responsible for overall technical solution development, scope, client satisfaction, and consulting delivery effectiveness & efficiency.
